TEXAS IN JULY ANNOUNCES FAREWELL EUROPEAN TOUR

Today, Texas In July has started to announce their final shows together. The band has announced their farewell European tour – which will feature festival appearances at Jera On Air, Graspop, and With Full Force Festival – and select shows with the likes of Chelsea Grin and Walking With Strangers.

The Ephrata, PA-based band originally formed in 2007 and signed to Equal Vision Records in 2010. Texas In July is currently comprised of JT Cavey (vocals), Adam Gray (drums), Chris Davis (lead guitar), and Benjamin Witkowski (bass).

NORTHERN FACES’ NEW SONG “ALONE AND FORGOTTEN” PREMIERES ON ALTPRESS.COM

Today AltPress debuts Northern Faces’ new track, “Alone and Forgotten” from their upcoming self-titled debut full length album, out April 21st through Equal Vision Records. The third track to be released from the album, “Alone and Forgotten” features sustained washed-out treble-filled guitar hooks with catchy, mantra-like choruses of exposed self-confidence; “I don’t ever want to be, all alone and forgotten,” sings co-vocalist Marco Testa, accentuated by signature searing guitar work from Bryan Shortell.

TREY THE RULER SIGNS TO HEADPHONE MUSIC / EQUAL VISION

Trey The Ruler, aka Trey Hales, has signed to Headphone Music / Equal Vision Records. The Portland, OR-based spoken word performer will release his new four track EP, It’s All Down Hell From Here, on May 26.

Pre-orders for the EP, which include CD and 7″ vinyl options, are available now at treytheruler.merchnow.com, along with a full streaming premiere of the spoken word EP and “Types of Evil” – the first song to be released from his forthcoming full-length. IDLEHANDS TO RELEASE ‘DENA MORA’ ON MAY 19; PREMIERES “FILTHY DOVES” MUSIC VIDEO

San Diego, CA’s Idlehands will release their debut full-length, Dena Mora, on May 19 via Headphone Music, an Equal Vision Records imprint.

The experimental indie-rock quintet is premiering “Filthy Doves” – a new song and music video – right now on Youtube.com/equalvision. Also available on the video playlist, is the band’s previously released track “Mellow Christ” (featuring Justin Bonifacio of Ghost Parade), which also appears on the forthcoming album.

Crooks UK, hailing from Cheltenham, UK has signed to Headphone Music / Equal Vision Records. Today, the band is also premiering a new music video for “A Few Peaceful Days” from their forthcoming album.
