MATT PRYOR ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM ‘MEMENTO MORI’ OUT FEBRUARY 17

Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids) will release Memento Mori, his fifth solo full-length album, on February 17 via Equal Vision Records/Rory Records.

The first song released from the album – “A Small Explosion” – can be heard now at mattpryor.merchnow.com and on all digital retailers. All Memento Mori pre-orders through MerchNOW come with a $20 credit to Downwrite (or a full song), and an instant download of “A Small Explosion”. The first pressing of vinyl for Memento Mori will include clear vinyl (limited to 100) and light blue vinyl with white swirl (limited to 400). The album was self-produced by Pryor, mixed by Andy Jackson and mastered by Michael Fossenkemper.

POLYPHIA ANNOUNCES SPRING HEADLINE TOUR

Equal Vision Records’ instrumental outfit Polyphia has just announced ‘The Lit AF’ headline tour, which will kick off on February 18 in the band’s hometown of Dallas, TX. The upcoming tour will also include sets from Jason Richardson and Covet. Polyphia has previously toured and shared stages with the likes of Coheed and Cambria, Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Between The Buried and Me, August Burns Red and Every Time I Die. WATERMEDOWN, the solo project of vocalist/guitarist Jonny Mays, is now premiering a music video for his recently released song, “Locks and Blinds”. The song can be found on all digital retailers including Bandcamp, Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music and GooglePlay.

The music video, which was directed by Eric Teti (Real Friends, Knuckle Puck), can be seen now at Youtube.com/equalvision.

SECRET SPACE DEBUTS “SAY WHAT YOU WILL” ACOUSTIC VIDEO

Toledo, OH’s Secret Space is now premiering a stripped down acoustic version of “Say What You Will” at Youtube.com/equalvision. The live performance video was filmed in Los Angeles, CA by Jawn Rocha, while the band was on tour with Anthony Green and Mat Kerekes.

Hopesfall has reunited and signed to Graphic Nature Records, an imprint of Equal Vision Records founded by producer Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Stray From The Path, Counterparts). This January, the band will head into the studio with Mike Watts (Glassjaw, The Dear Hunter, Hopesfall) to record their first new album in ten years.

Waterparks is now premiering their fun new music video for “Stupid For You” at waterparksband.com and youtube.com/equalvision.
