OWEL RELEASE NEW VIDEOS FROM ‘LIVE FROM AUDIO PILOT STUDIOS’ UPCOMING ALBUM VIA IMPOSE MAGAZINE
OWEL released two new chapters from their Live From Audio Pilot Studios full-length due out Friday November 10th on Equal Vision Records. The videos premiered alongside an interview with Impose Magazine this morning. These latest videos for “All I’ll Ever Know” and “Be Quiet” follow the release of “Too Young To Fall In Love”, which accompanied the album announcement last week. You can pre-order Live From Audio Pilot Studios now ahead of the record release on Friday.
OWEL have long been revered for their pristine, shimmering arrangements that shift seamlessly between soft and delicate and loud and emotive. Anyone who has seen them in a live setting can assert that what truly makes them stand out is their ability to perfectly replicate these intricate studio arrangements in a way that not only captures the essence of the recordings, but breathes another layer of life into them. To celebrate the release of this live album, the band has put together a series of performance videos recorded at Audio Pilot Studios; offering an uncanny look at the special moment where the band expertly recreates tracks from their 2016 Equal Vision Records release, dear me.
OWEL is comprised of Jay Sakong (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Nunzio Moudatsos (vocals, bass), Ryan Vargas (percussion) and Seamus O’Connor (vocals, guitar, keys). Their delicate, dreamy vocals, five-part harmonies, elegant string arrangements and touch of electronic elements form a stunning sound that is truly all their own. The dramatic crescendos and dynamic soundscapes weave behind ethereal vocals on their 2016 Equal Vision Records release dear me, leading listeners on a phenomenal sonic journey of reflection, curiosity and contemplation.
This December, OWEL will be joined by another one of Equal Vision Records brightest young bands, Northern Faces, to close out 2017 with a series of co-headlining dates through the northeastern United States. Starting at the Spark Art Space in Syracuse, New York, the tour will work its way down the coast, including key stops such as Brooklyn, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Boston.
