FAIRWEATHER RELEASE NEW EP, ‘DELUGE’

Post-rock band Fairweather have released their new EP, Deluge, through Equal Vision Records. Recorded at guitarist Ben Green’s Washington D.C. studio, Ivakota, and partially at vocalist Jay Littleton’s studio in Houston, Deluge is Fairweather’s first new music since their self-titled album in 2014. The four songs sprawl with lush arrangements and a melodic tension that push from the boundaries of their lengthy album catalog. Rounding out the band’s lineup is guitarists Peter Tsouras and Ben Murphy, drummer Shane Johnson, and bassist Nick Barkley. The songwriting process for the EP was extremely collaborative, exchanging lyrics and chords to create a beautiful twenty-minutes of music.

MURALS SHARE NEW SINGLE, “11:11” FT. BJ ALLEN

Post-hardcore outfit Murals released a powerful new single “11:11” ft. vocalist BJ Allen (Zero Trust, Full Scale Riot) on Equal Vision Records. Allen’s lyrics explore themes of hope and personal strength in the face of adversity, made all the more gripping by his caustic vocal delivery. The song hits hard with angular riffs that call upon Allen’s classic hardcore roots and the bands propensity for writing tunes that are equal parts emotive and aggressive. The band will donate a portion of all proceeds from the song to Make-A-Wish. You can stream the song here.

Murals is a creative alliance between three talented instrumentalists – Shane Gann of Hail The Sun / Sufferer (guitar), Blake Dahlinger of Sufferer (drums) and Tony Bautista formerly of Mannequin Mishap (bass), alongside a revolving roster of vocalists. The main influences for this project are actual stories from the vocalists themselves, which drives the band […]

The song serves as the second single, following the towering “Untethered”. Recorded at guitarist Ben Green’s Washington D.C. studio, Ivakota, and partially at vocalist Jay Littleton’s studio in Houston, Deluge is Fairweather’s first new music since their self-titled album in 2014. CHERIE AMOUR RELEASE CAPTIVATING NEW SINGLE, “SIN CITY”

Baltimore-based quartet Cherie Amour released their new single and video “Sin City” via Equal Vision Records. A follow up to their acclaimed 2021 debut EP Internal Discussions, the band is back flexing their signature “nu-punk” sound, expertly combining elements of pop-punk, R&B, hip-hop, and metal. Produced by Alan Day (Four Year Strong), the track stands out with huge, radio friendly production juxtaposed against plenty of hard hitting moments. Gritty electronic elements and genre-defying breakdowns highlight the bands unique ability to craft catchy music from disparate influences. While “Sin City” will appeal to a wide range of alternative music lovers, it is anything but formulaic – instead, it serves as a reminder that Cherie Amour has perfected a sound totally their own. You can watch the official video and stream “Sin City” here.
