ALL GET OUT SHARE NEW SONG “GOD DAMN”

Far too often, genre tags stay stuck to a band, even long after they’ve progressed beyond their original sound. With each subsequent release, they try pushing themselves just a bit further to avoid the restriction these labels create. But what happens when the band decides to stop caring about what the world thinks, and just makes whatever the hell they want?

Today Southern indie rockers All Get Out release a new song called “God Damn.” THIS is the sound of a band that could care less what box you put them in. It’s a ferocious track, and an undeniable moment of growth and confidence on their forthcoming album No Bouquet.

HAIL THE SUN RELEASE NEW FULL-LENGTH, MENTAL KNIFE!

California-based progressive post-hardcore outfit, Hail The Sun, released their highly-anticipated new full-length, Mental Knife, today via Equal Vision Records. Mental Knife is the closest the band has come to realizing the sound they’ve sought since forming in 2009. The band lived largely in the same creative space for this record as they did on its predecessors – Culture Scars (2016) and the Secret Wars EP (2017). However, all four members of the band have elevated their already impressive style of play on Mental Knife; pushing the limit of what is capable when walking the delicate line between intricate song arrangements and massive riffs and thundering rhythms. To realize their vision for Mental Knife, the band worked with Beau Burchell, best […]

SAVES THE DAY RELEASE “KEROUAC & CASSADY”

Saves The Day returned today with “Kerouac & Cassady” – the second single from their highly-anticipated new album 9. “Kerouac & Cassady” is the perfect soundtrack to a Saturday night drive. Each lyric is a callback to a memory from the band’s two decades accumulating memories on tour and even the song’s title is a nod to the beatnik classic On The Road. It’s a propulsive rock anthem that triggers the sort of adrenaline rush that convinces the listener that anything is possible when they walk out their door on a Saturday night. You can listen to the record now on YouTube, Spotify or most of your favorite other streaming sites. Along with the release of “Kerouac & Cassady”, Saves […]

HAIL THE SUN RELEASE “GLASS: HALF EMPTY” SONG + VIDEO

One week ahead of their highly-anticipated new full length, Mental Knife, Hail The Sun have released a scorching new single “Glass: Half Empty” alongside an official video for the track. ”Glass: Half Empty” provides some of the most maniacal moments we’ll see on Mental Knife – alternating between moments of visceral screams and mind-blowing guitars and ethereal finger-picking over which singer/drummer, Donovan Melero, shows his command of melody. The vibrant colors and cheerfulness of the video provide a striking contrast to the message and overall tones of “Glass: Half Empty” as a song. You can watch the video now on YouTube and look for it on your favorite streaming sites as well.

Donovan adds this regarding the single/video:
