Chico, CA genre-benders Hail The Sun are back with new single “Parasitic Cleanse” and accompanying music video out today via Equal Vision Records. The song marks the second preview from their upcoming Kris Crummett produced album, New Age Filth, out April 16th. “Parasitic Cleanse” is an expressive blast of energy, winding through rapid guitar lines and bombarding drums. Donovan Melero gives a serious vocal attack right off the bat, perfecting his mix of screaming and singing akin to greats like Daryl Palumbo (Glassjaw) and Keith Buckley (Every Time I Die). A few months back, New Jersey indie-rockers, The Vaughns, announced that they have officially signed to Equal Vision Records. Today, the band has dropped a three-track EP, rom-coms + take-out via their new label home. Fans can stream “Bushwick,” “All Weekend” and the dreamy “Raina” everywhere now.
The singles have been heralded by NPR, FLOOD Magazine, BrooklynVegan, and more, and most recently, “Raina” has been added to Spotify’s “Fresh Finds: Indie” playlist, where it continues to rapidly gain streams.

The band shines a new light on each track, taking these heavily technical songs and turning them into beautiful acoustic arrangements.
