AS CITIES BURN RELEASE FIRST ALBUM IN A DECADE SCREAM THROUGH THE WALLS OUT TODAY

Today, Louisiana post-hardcore outfit, As Cities Burn, celebrated the release of their first studio album in a decade, Scream Through The Walls. Scream Through The Walls (out now on Equal Vision Records) is the band’s fourth full-length release, and finds the Bonnette brothers reuniting to share vocal duties for the first time since their seminal debut, Son, I Loved You At Your Darkest, in 2005. The album title, taken from the lyrics of the third single, “Hollowed Out”, is central to the overall mission of the record as it deals directly with Cody Bonnette’s attempts to find the motivation to overcome his own bouts of debilitating depression and self-imposed isolation.

BARS OF GOLD PREMIERE VIDEO FOR “$20”

Detroit based post-rock, indie sextet Bars of Gold recently put out new LP SHELTERS and today they’ve released a video from it for “$20”. Directed and animated by guitarist Scotty Iulianelli the video is a visual representation of how he sees the world. Since suffering a concussion in 2016 where he was knocked unconscious for an undetermined amount of time Iulianell started to see the world in a new way where geometry and math in the universe started to reveal itself differently.
