Portugal. The Man Announces Winter Tour & Bonnaroo Date

Home-grown in the wilds and majesty of Wasilla, Alaska and critically-acclaimed in the Lower 48, Portugal. The Man will hit the road at the end of this month for a west coast run of dates. The tour kicks off on February 26 in Sacramento, CA and will wind up in Portland, OR on March 14.

In addition, Portugal. The Man has just been confirmed to appear at the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival to be held in Manchester, TN between June 11 and June 14. Specific details will be announced in the coming weeks. This will be the first time that Portugal. The Man will play a major music festival.

On these upcoming dates, Portugal. The Man – John Baldwin Gourley (guitars, lead vocals), Zachary Scott Carothers (bass, vocals), Ryan Neighbors (keyboards, vocals), and newest member drummer Garrett Lunceford – plan to debut new material from their upcoming release, as yet untitled but expected out this summer on their own Approaching AIRballoons label (via Equal Vision). P.TM has been holed up since early January at Boston’s Camp Street Studios with the formidable production team consisting of Paul Q. Kolderie (Pixies, Radiohead, Throwing Muses) who mixed Censored Colors, Adam Taylor (The Lemonheads, The Dresdon Dolls), and Anthony Saffery (member of Cornershop).
