Set It Off announce co-headline tour with Sparks The Rescue

Set It Off will embark on a full US co-headline tour with Sparks The Rescue this fall. The month long trek will also feature support from Handguns. Set It Off is touring in support of Cinematics, their debut full-length record which will be released on September 18 via Equal Vision Records.

Today, the band is premiering “Swan Song” – a new single off of the album – in the form of a lyric video, exclusively on AltPress.com. “Swan Song” is the second single released off of the new album, following “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead”, which is available now through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon, as well as on Youtube.

Set It Off has just wrapped up a weekend of massive shows in New York City, Philadelphia and Boston, with recently reunited labelmates, Chiodos. Next, the band will venture to Canada with Sparks The Rescue, followed by a partial US tour with There For Tomorrow. All upcoming tour dates can be seen below.

The Tampa, FL-based band also recently announced that they will be donating one dollar for every Cinematics record sold in the US, leading up to and during the first week of the album’s release, to VH1 Save The Music Foundation. The band will also add a bonus to the donation, to create a total of $5000, if they reach their goal of No. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. Equal Vision Records will match the band’s donation amount, doubling the total amount going to VH1 Save the Music Foundation.

The VH1 Save The Music Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education. To date, VH1 Save The Music has provided more than $48 million in new musical instruments to 1,800 public schools in more than 100 cities around the country, impacting the lives of over 1.8 million children.

Set It Off launched their exclusive album preorder bundles through MerchNOW, which each come with an instant digital download of “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead”. A digital deluxe version of Cinematics will also be available on iTunes featuring three additional tracks. The extra songs will include “Swan Song (acoustic)”, “I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead (acoustic)” and the demo version of a brand new song called “You Are Loved”.
