SET IT OFF ANNOUNCES US CO-HEADLINE TOUR WITH TONIGHT ALIVE
Equal Vision Records’ pop quartet Set It Off will head out on The Fight For Something Tour – a full US co-headline tour with Australia’s Tonight Alive. Supporting the two bands will be The Ready Set and SayWeCanFly.
VIP pre-sale will go on sale Tuesday, November 3 and general tickets will go on sale November 6. More information can be found here: thefightforsomethingtour.com
“We are so excited to announce The Fight for Something Tour. This co-headliner with Tonight Alive is our biggest headlining tour to date and it comes with a fun theme and a great cause that we’ll be revealing soon,” shares Set It Off vocalist Cody Carson. “We are also extremely happy to be sharing the stage with our friends in The Ready Set and SayWeCanFly, we can’t imagine anyone else being more perfect for these shows. So put on your gloves and step into the ring with us this March because it’s time to experience a show like you’ve never seen before.”
Set It Off has just wrapped up a massive run of tour dates all throughout the world including the entirety of the 2015 Vans Warped Tour in the US, a Canadian tour with All Time Low and a European/UK run with Mallory Knox. The band is currently writing for their next full-length album.
Set It Off also recently premiered their music video for “Wild Wild World” via Youtube.com/equalvision. The stunning full band acoustic track is a reflection on all of the recent tragedies in the news around the world and features guest appearances in the video from Andy Biersack of Black Veil Brides, Lynn Gunn of PVRIS, Patty Walters of As It Is, and Matt and Trevor Wentworth of Our Last night.
“When it comes down to it, I feel people are afraid of change and afraid of what the world will become. If we can just open our eyes and see each other as brothers and sisters regardless of sexual orientation and race, then we can take a huge leap forward as a human race. This song “Wild Wild World”, is about my views on what I’ve witnessed recently and is my way of basically pleading with everyone to think twice before making rash decisions or judgments and to try and be the people that make a difference in this world,” says Carson. “I want to give a huge thank you to Lynn Gunn, Patty Walters, Matt and Trevor Wentworth, and Andy Biersack for getting behind this song and its message by showcasing a quote relative to this song that means a lot to them. It’s impossible to make a difference alone, it’s when we come together that change truly begins to shed light onto the path we all wish to walk down.”
The song comes from the band’s latest release, Duality: Stories Unplugged, a collection of stripped down, full band, string-infused tracks that was released on June 23.
Duality: Stories Unplugged is out now through MerchNOW, iTunes, AmazonMP3, Google Play and more. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
