Independent record label Equal Vision Records (home to Chiodos, Circa Survive, The Fall of Troy, The Color Fred, etc) is seeking two new full-time employees to work out of our main offices in Albany, NY. ************ ENTRY-LEVEL ASSISTANT We're looking for a very motivated individual who is comfortable working with strict deadlines in a relaxed work environment. This job is for someone with great organizational and communication skills and a broad knowledge of the contemporary music scene and lifestyle. Employee would be responsible for assisting all departments of an independent record label including artist relations, new media, marketing, radio promotions, retail, and more. Possible job duties include coordinating interviews and guest list requests, managing local area representatives, building comprehensive reports, following up with retail stores, regional press, website management, and more! Basic knowledge of general computer programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and iTunes is required.
