Purevolume.com premieres Tallhart's "Drunk Kids" music video

Tampa, FL-based indie outfit Tallhart has teamed up with Purevolume.com for the exclusive premiere of their music video for "Drunk Kids". The song comes from the band's debut release on Rory Records/Equal Vision Records, Bloodlines EP, which came out earlier this year. The video was filmed in the band's hometown of Tampa, FL with Ryan Gardner at 715 Franklin and can be viewed HERE.

"I think with this being our first video we didn't really know what to expect but it turned out to be such a fun and memorable experience," explains Tallhart vocalist Matt Segallos. "Ryan Gardner and everyone at 715 Franklin worked so hard and made us feel at ease. I hope it's as fun to watch as it was to make!"

Since returning home from their recent fall tour with Say Anything, the quartet has been writing non-stop for their sophomore full-length album, which follows the band's debut self-released, full-length Sister of Mine, and the aforementioned EP Bloodlines. Tallhart is now set to enter the studio with producer Brad Wood [Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Real Estate, Say Anything] in early January.

"Writing and recording is definitely what I'm the most passionate about," reveals Segallos. "I think at first you're just drawn to playing live and the energy of a big crowd - and that is always a rush; But for me watching a few lyrics or a lead turn into a song is the most enjoyable thing to be a part of. This new record is so important to me. It's our first chance to put a stamp on our sound and to really gain our identity. And I can't wait to work with Max [Bemis, of Say Anything] and Brad. We're so lucky to be surrounded by so many talented and helpful people. I can't wait for people to hear it."

Tallhart is the first band signed to Rory Records, an imprint of Equal Vision Records started by Say Anything frontman, Max Bemis.

En route to the studio in Los Angeles, Tallhart will perform two stripped down acoustic shows in Austin, TX and Tucson, AZ. Details can be found below.
