We Came As Romans Premiere Official Music Video for "Hope"

Detroit, MI's We Came As Romans is premiering their new music video for “Hope” today on wecameasromans.com.

Bassist Andrew Glass, who has always played an integral role in the visual and artistic direction of the band – ranging from album art to music videos - speaks of the concept behind the video for "Hope" explaining, “Standing up and becoming united as one, is what the main idea of the video is. In the video, you see our vocalists Dave Stephens and Kyle Pavone becoming inspired and compelled to create a change within themselves and others. Hope is a fire that burns inside us all and one which can never be put out.”

The music video was filmed by directors Dan Kennedy and Rasa Acharya (Say Anything, Texas In July).

The song comes from their recently released digital deluxe version of Understanding What We’ve Grown To Be, which in addition to “Hope” includes two more new songs – “Let These Words Last Forever” and “The King of Silence”. The deluxe album is available now through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon. A physical release is scheduled for the Spring with more information and pre-orders to be available soon through MerchNOW.com. Understanding What We've Grown To Be was originally released in September 2011 and debuted at No. 20 on the Billboard Current Top 200.

This past week the band was also announced as a main stage artist on this Summer's 2013 Vans Warped Tour. This will be the band’s second time on the tour and first time performing on the main stage. We Came As Romans is currently on tour with The Used, on the 11th Annual Take Action Tour, which is raising money and awareness for the It Gets Better Project. In March, immediately following the tour, We Came As Romans will return to the studio to begin recording their third full-length album, with producer John Feldmann (The Used, All Time Low).

We Came As Romans charged through 2012 with several international runs, including massive performances in the Philippines, South America, Russia, Japan, and multiple runs throughout Europe/UK, and North America; And saw appearances on the covers of Alternative Press and Substream Music Press magazines, the front pages of the NJ Star-Ledger and Asbury Park Press newspapers, exclusive features in Journeys stores, a main feature in Hot Topic’s back-to-school campaign, and appeared in Revolver Magazine, Guitar World, Rock Sound, Kerrang!, Outburn Magazine, AMP Magazine, and on RollingStone.com, Nikon.com, MTV Buzzworthy Blog, Axe Body Spray Sites, and Sirius XM Liquid Metal.
