Equal Vision Records’ Glass Cloud has announced that they will perform on The Chariot’s Farewell Tour this fall.
“Ten years from now people will look back on The Chariot's career exactly as it should be looked at: Legendary. They are legends on and off the stage,” states Glass Cloud lyricist and bassist Travis Sykes. “We couldn't be more honored to be part of the last chapter in their brilliant legacy. Long live The Chariot.”
Glass Cloud has spent the summer writing and recording a new EP, that is expected to be released later this year. Josh Travis, the band's guitarist and producer, has also teamed up with Legator Guitars for the release of the Josh Travis Signature Series eight and nine-string guitars, both of which are now available at legatorguitars.com. The forthcoming EP will feature the band’s first ever recorded 9-string material, with plans to debut some of the songs live on their upcoming tour dates.
“This is hands down the most aggressive, angriest, and heaviest material we have created. I seriously cannot wait to play some of this stuff live. Travis notes of the new material. "Playing each night alongside The Chariot...we obviously got to bring it."
