Max Bemis, frontman of Say Anything, will hit the road this winter on an acoustic headline tour that will feature sets from Matt Pryor of The Get Up Kids, Perma, Sherri DuPree-Bemis of Eisley, and Merriment.
Perma – a musical collaboration between Bemis and his wife, Eisley vocalist Sherri DuPree-Bemis – recently announced that they will release their debut full-length album together on October 29. Today, they are premiering a new song, “Little Light”, on diffuser.fm.
The Tyler, TX-based duo released the album’s title track “Two of a Crime” last week, already racking up over 25,000 streams to date on SoundCloud. Pre-orders for Two of a Crime are available now at perma.merchnow.com, and include an instant download of the title track immediately upon purchase, along with three digital bonus tracks ("Knockout", "Fallen Pollen", and "Tripping") that will be delivered on release day.
“This will be my favorite acoustic tour ever. I just know it,” shares Bemis. “In addition to what I've found to be a thrilling experience, playing Say Anything songs acoustically in an intimate setting, Sherri and I be getting to debut many of the songs from Perma's Two of a Crime live for the first time. Having a hero of mine such as Matt Pryor along for the ride, and my favorite new band Merriment opening, just makes it even more exciting."
Bemis will be performing a wide range of songs, including songs from all of Say Anything's records, old material, much requested songs that he's never previously performed, and "possibly even a cover once every so often."
