Rory Records / Equal Vision Records’ solo artist Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids/New Amsterdams) will hit the road this Spring with Blue of Colors, Bob Nanna (May 11-17 only), Mark Rose and Josh Berwanger (May 2-10 only).
The US tour will be presented by Downwrite, a platform created by Nanna and Rose that allows fans to connect with their favorite songwriters on a personal and creative level, by having custom songs written specifically for them.
The upcoming tour features a full lineup of Downwrite artists and will serve as an intimate introduction to the unique service.
"It's a showcase for songwriters and a way for people to get to know what Downwrite is all about,” shares Pryor. "Plus, I'm excited to be touring with some old friends again."
Pryor recently unveiled a music video for “Kinda Go To Pieces”, featuring a guest appearance from 2013 Air Guitar World Champion Eric “Mean Melin” Melin. The song comes from his latest solo album Wrist Slitter – out now via Rory Records/Equal Vision Records. Watch “Kinda Go To Pieces” on YouTube HERE.
All upcoming tour dates for Pryor can be found below, including a one-off headlining all-request show in Atlantic City on April 12 at BoneYard. Pryor's upcoming shows follow a recent run with Allison Weiss throughout the UK and Europe, a US tour with Max Bemis (Say Anything), Sherri DuPree-Bemis (Eisley), Perma, Merriment, and Weiss, and a special hometown show at the Lawrence Arts Center, where he was joined by a full ensemble of strings and horns.
