Silent Drive unveil new song and add guitarist
After more than three years Silent Drive, featuring current members of Bane and ex-members of Drowningman have posted a new song on their MySpace page. The new demo track, entitled “Mexican Standoff” will be re-recorded for the band’s followup to Love Is Worth It which is due in 2008.
Silent Drive has also announced the addition of a second guitarist named Andy Kyte to round out their lineup.
“Andy has been a friend of ours for years,” says drummer Dave Joyal, “he actually played second guitar in Silent Drive when the band was formed in early 2003. After we started jamming with Andy, we realized it helped fill out our sound to a degree we had never thought possible in the past. Now we have more room to experiment.”
