A LOT LIKE BIRDS ANNOUNCE HEADLINE SHOWS LEADING UP TO TOUR WITH EMAROSA
Sacramento rockers A Lot Like Birds are thrilled to announce that they will be hitting the road for a series of headline shows this fall. The dates include stops in Salt Lake City, Denver, and Detroit, prior a full US tour supporting Emarosa and Jule Vera which starts on September 23rd in Pittsburgh. Following the tour, A Lot Like Birds will be stopping in Kansas City, Roswell, and Las Vegas for additional headline dates. A Lot Like Birds’ constant musical evolution and entrancing live shows, combined with their down-to-earth personalities, proved to be just the right fit for Equal Vision Records, who signed the band in 2012. “Signing to Equal Vision used to just be a daydream for most of us,” explains Lockwood. “When we were growing up and still playing in previous bands, Equal Vision was putting out CDs by incredible artists that we admire like Bear vs Shark, The Fall of Troy and Circa Survive.”
Today A Lot Like Birds shares a spot on the Equal Vision Roster with the impressive likes of Saves The Day, Say Anything, Matt Pryor (of The Get Up Kids), Eisley, I the Mighty, and more.
DIVISI is the band’s second release on the Upstate NY-based independent label, and the first featuring their brand new line up: Cory Lockwood (vocals), Michael Franzino (guitar), Ben Wiacek (guitar), Matt Coate (bass/vocals), and Joe Arrington (drums). The album, which represents a dramatic shift in sound and a new direction for the band, was released on May 5th, 2017. For more information, please visit: www.facebook.com/ALotLikeBirds
