COLDFRONT DEBUTS “SHED LIGHT” MUSIC VIDEO; SUMMER TOUR WITH SEAWAY KICKS OFF JULY 2

Canadian pop-punk outfit Coldfront has partnered with Exclaim! to premiere their new music video for “Shed Light”. The emotional track can be heard HERE and comes from the band’s new EP, Is This Where They Found You?, that will be released on July 8 via Equal Vision Records.

The song, which showcases a heavier side of the band both lyrically and musically, aims to shed light on physical, mental and emotional abuse, and was written after guitarist/vocalist Christopher Casarin watched his sister come out of an abusive relationship. He shares, “Hopefully the video and song will start a conversation and encourage people to speak up if they know someone going through the same thing, or if they are going through it themselves. Hopefully this video will open people’s eyes.”

Coldfront also recently premiered a music video for “Molly Blooms”, which can be viewed now at AltPress.com and Youtube.com/equalvision.

Is This Where They Found You? is available for pre-order physically HERE and through digital retailers such as iTunes, GooglePlay and AmazonMP3.

To date, the band has released two EPs – Some Things Never Change (2014) and their self-titled debut (2013). Coldfront is comprised of Thomas Stewart (vocals), Christopher Casarin (guitar, vocals), Jared Cipak (guitar), Michael Kelly (drums) and Erikson Melton (bass).

Coldfront played their first show ever at the Toronto date of 2013 Vans Warped Tour in 2013 and have since gone on to share stages with the likes of Knuckle Puck, Such Gold, and Like Pacific and perform at festivals such as KOI Fest alongside Silverstein, Every Time I Die, Counterparts and more.

This Summer, they will head out on a North American run with Seaway and Rarity. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
