GREYHAVEN PREMIERE NEW SONG + MUSIC VIDEO, “TEN DOGS — RED HEAVEN”, WITH REVOLVER
A little over a week ahead of the release of their new full-length, Empty Black, progressive metal act, Greyhaven, premiered “Ten Dogs — Red Heaven” today with Revolver Magazine. “Ten Dogs — Red Heaven” sees the band’s continued exploration of just how dynamic heavy metal can be. It’s a raw, emotive single that is accentuated by provocative shifts and explosive guitars. The accompanying visual combines video of the band performing live with imagery that reflects the incredible chaos and destruction that the world is capable of. It is the perfect representation of the song’s message and captures the tracks ferocity as well. You can watch the video now on YouTube and is also available on Spotify.
Quote from Brent Mills (Vocals):
“Welcome to the celebration of imperialistic death, collateral damage is the name of the game. Sons and daughters and newly made martyrs are all in attendance. This is the festival of Ten Dogs. This is Red Heaven.”
Greyhaven are currently on a full North American run supporting Norma Jean on The Redeemer tour alongside Gideon and Toothgrinder. They have received accolades from many top tier press outlets around the release of their first two single “Echo and The Dust – Part 1” and “Blemish” – ranging from Alternative Press to Revolver Magazine to Metal Injection and BBC Radio 1. Tickets for The Redeemer Tour can be purchased now at normajeannoise.com and you can pre-order Empty Black here.
Empty Black is best encapsulated by one phrase – “make the accident look like it was on purpose”. This isn’t due to a lack of intent, but more so to a commitment to experimentation. As a product of the vibrant yet insular music scene in Louisville, Kentucky, Greyhaven has never been afraid to pursue the avant-garde. On Empty Black they’ve created an album that is pristinely violent while challenging the norms associated with heavy rock music. The Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Body Count, Knocked Loose, Amity Affliction) produced record will be released March 16th on Graphic Nature / Equal Vision Records.
