Happy Holidays from Equal Vision Records!
It has been a wonderful year at Equal Vision Records! 2009 saw fantastic new releases from some established bands – CIV, The Color Fred, The Fall Of Troy, and Portugal. The Man – as well as breakout debuts from Closure In Moscow, Life On Repeat, Therefore I Am, This Time Next Year, and We Came As Romans. In the summer, the Equal Vision family expanded with the launch of the conscious-music imprint label, Mantralogy Records.
2010 is shaping up to be even better! Highly anticipated new releases can be expected from Chiodos, Pierce The Veil, Sky Eats Airplane, Isles & Glaciers, and many more, including an Equal Vision Records alumni who will return to release a special album in the Spring.
Equal Vision Records will also turn 20 next year, celebrating the anniversary of it’s first release. Though we’ve come a long way from cassette tapes and handmade vinyl packaging, some things haven’t changed. “I believe what has helped keep us thriving is our commitment to bringing fans the best in alternative/hardcore/indie and whatever new genres and sub-genres pop up, without compromising our integrity,” comments label owner, Steve Reddy.
The Equal Vision Records family would like to wish you and your family a Happy Holiday!
