HRVRD announce Fall tour plans
Equal Vision Records’ indie outfit HRVRD announces their next tour, a fall headlining run in November, with support from fellow Charlotte, NC-based bands Sugar Glyder and Junior Astronomers.
“Our September tour was successful on many different levels, not only did we not break down in the van at any point, but we were able to share our music with a lot of new people.”
“It was a heartwarming experience to meet people that had been waiting and excited to see us on the West Coast for the first time. We are eternally grateful for everyone that was a part of that tour and are definitely anticipating our next trip,” reflects vocalist Jesse Clasen. “This tour in November will be a blast, we are going out with two incredible talented bands from our hometown. Junior Astronomers are close friends of ours and are a band you should definitely know about. And Sugar Glyder is another hardworking band from the Charlotte-scene that has a new album coming out soon.”
HRVRD is also premiering a new video today featuring a live, stripped down performance of “In per morbus” off of their previously released EP, Interpretations. The EP features five fully reworked, reinterpreted songs off of HRVRD’s debut full-length album The Inevitable and I, with “In per morbus” being a reimagined version of their song “On With Disease”. The video can be viewed HERE.
HRVRD’s new full-length album, which was recorded at Salad Days Studios in Baltimore, MD with producer Brian McTernan (Circa Survive, Senses Fail), will be released in early 2013. It will be HRVRD’s Equal Vision Records’ debut, released in partnership with Enjoy The Ride Records.
In anticipation of the new album, the band released new songs on September 4 as part of a two song digital single. The two songs, “Cardboard Houses” and “Parts & Labor”, will be released together as a vinyl 7” later this fall, with an official release date being announced soon.
HRVRD will be performing songs off of The Inevitable and I on the tour, as well as several new songs off of the band’s forthcoming full-length album – including “Cardboard Houses”. All upcoming tour dates can be seen below.
