More Fairweather shows announced

This September, Fairweather will once again hit the road, with performances confirmed in New York City, Providence and Philadelphia.

Fairweather is comprised of Jay Littleton [vocals], Peter Tsouras [guitar, vocals], Ben Green [guitar, vocals], Shane Johnson [drums] and Ben Murphy [bass].

On May 14th, Equal Vision Records’ Fairweather performed together in Washington DC, for the first time in eight years. The band is now actively writing new music and has decided to continue playing shows when possible.

“It’s been a long time since we’ve been in the van together and we’re really looking forward to the opportunity to play these towns again,” states Littleton.

Prior to disbanding in 2003, Fairweather released two full-length albums, If They Move…Kill Them and Lusitania, and a four song EP, Alaska. Over the years, they have toured with the likes of Thursday, Brand New, Recover, Dashboard Confessional, Piebald, Strike Anywhere, The Movielife and more.

Local support and additional show information will be announced in coming weeks via the band’s social networking sites. Tickets will be available on Saturday, July 23rd.
