MUSEUM MOUTH PREMIERES “I SCREAM AT YOU WHEN YOU’RE NOT IN THE ROOM” MUSIC VIDEO
Wilmington, NC’s Museum Mouth is now premiering a music video for “I Scream At You When You’re Not In The Room” via Youtube.com/equalvision. The track comes from the band’s new album, Popcorn Fish Guinea Pig, which was released on April 29 via Rory Records – Max Bemis of Say Anything’s imprint within Equal Vision Records.
Museum Mouth is currently on their first ever full US tour, supporting Say Anything, mewithoutYou, and Teen Suicide. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
“The idea for the video originated from some candid footage our friend, Travis Harrington, shot of me painting my face green in my bedroom mirror while singing along to our record. (I’m not gonna lie–I’m like really into painting my face green and think I actually look BETTER that way so any excuse to do that is FINE BY ME) but basically I wanted to make a video where I got “dolled up” to go meet some guy, while my room was in a state of chaos reflecting the sort of “mental shitstorm” that comes with a hook up from a dating app you know isn’t smart or gonna go anywhere,” reveals vocalist/drummer Karl Kuehn. “So, I asked Kory and Graham to go buy some crap from Target while I was at work and we made this! I think halfway through filming one of us had the idea like, “…what if we held a seance and summoned the gay devil?” and, well…here we are! LOL.”
