Centered around recurring themes of death, love and mourning, The Nightmares create a dark, yet hopeful sound blending noir-pop, post-punk, goth, and alternative. UK band The Nightmares have announced their debut album, Séance, set for release April 7th on Equal Vision Records and Venn Records (UK/EU). Centered around recurring themes of death, love and mourning, The Nightmares create a dark, yet hopeful noir pop sound. Today, the quartet have released their anti-Valentine’s single, the fittingly-named “Heartless.” Showcasing their goth and post-punk influences, the track has a seemingly melancholic demeanor with tranquil vocals and haunting rhythms. The video for the song plays into the band’s signature black and red motif while focusing on moments of separation.
