Record Store Day: Saturday, April 18th 2009
Tomorrow is the second annual Record Store Day. This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists and labels to celebrate the art of music. Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day, and hundreds of artists across the globe make special appearances and performances.
Our very own band The Color Fred will be releasing a limited edition EP called The Intervention that is only available tomorrow at participating stores. Fred Mascherino will also be playing an intimate performance at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ at 1pm tomorrow in celebration of Record Store Day.
What we’re trying to say is, if possible, get out to a local record store tomorrow. Browse around, touch some CD’s, caress some vinyl, ask questions, buy something you’ve never heard, enjoy the experience.
