Set It Off to tour Europe with Tonight Alive
Tampa, FL’s Set It Off is set to return to the UK this Fall, as direct support to Tonight Alive. The band made their first trip to UK (and Europe) earlier this year alongside tour veterans Yellowcard, and even earned a Kerrang! Awards Nomination for ‘Best International Newcomer’. Set It Off recently announced their plans to re-issue their debut full-length album, Cinematics, worldwide on June 25 – while the band is on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour. The newest version will offer four additional tracks including two brand new songs – “Kill the Lights” and “Partners in Crime” – which were recorded in January 2013, with Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount [All Time Low, Cartel, Mayday Parade] at Vintage Song Studios in Alpharetta, GA.
In addition to the new songs, the re-issue also has two alternative versions of previously released songs, offering “I’ll Sleep While I”m Dead” as a haunting yet in-your-face, dance-ready remix created by MIRA, and fan-favorite “Dream Catcher” in a softer, acoustic arrangement that truly highlights the raw passion and intensity behind the song. The album also features revamped packaging, with a new album cover and lyrics to each song handwritten by fans of the band.
A music video for the song “Partners In Crime”, which features guest vocals from Ash Costello of New Years Day, was filmed in Los Angeles earlier this month, with director DJay Brawner (Foo Fighters, Gym Class Heroes, The Used) and also features Costello.
The Cinematics re-issue tracklisting and all upcoming tour dates can be seen below. Pre-orders for the physical release will be announced soon and available through MerchNOW. The four additional tracks will also be available à la carte on release date, through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon.
