Tallhart announces ‘Bloodlines’ EP for April 10th

Tampa, FL-based band Tallhart will release Bloodlines, their debut EP on Equal Vision Records, on April 10, 2012.

The six track album was recorded in Tampa, FL with Max Bemis (of Say Anything), Tim McTague (of Underoath), and Dean Tidey (of Feeder) serving as producers. The indie rock quartet is also the first band signed to Rory Records – the newly launched Equal Vision Records imprint label of Bemis.

Last week, Tallhart (previously known as Marksmen) released the first single “Fever (Sister of Mine)”. The song is available through digital retailers such as iTunes and Amazon, and can now be streamed on facebook.com/tallhart, in addition to a brand video teaser for the album.

The new album can be pre-ordered HERE or at any of Tallhart’s upcoming tour dates. All pre-orders come with an immediate download of “Fever (Sister of Mine)”.

Tallhart has just kicked off their Spring tour dates with indie pop labelmates Eisley and will perform in Milwaukee, WI at Shank Hall tonight, March 12. Following the Deep Space Tour, the band will join Say Anything for the second half of the Say Anarchy Tour.

Guitarist Chris Brickman, drummer Reed Murray and bassist Glenn Espinoza collectively create a perfectly balanced musical framework that showcases vocalist Matt Segallos’ potent mix of lyrical musings on the light and dark sides of life, love, and spirituality – all delivered through his distinctly soulful, and subtly southern, croons. Through rich guitar tones and pure lyrical eloquence, one can simply feel the sincerity and depth of the band’s emotionally charged music.

Tallhart has shared stages with the diverse likes of Anberlin, Underoath, Panic! At The Disco, Paper Tongues, Rooney, AWOLNATION and more and was named one of Tampa’s “2011 Ultimate Local Artists” by the Tampa Bay Tribune/ St. Pete Times. Bloodlines is the follow-up to two previous self-releases put out under the name Marksmen, The Blue and Grey EP (2010) and their full-length album Sister of Mine (2011).
