Tallhart announces Split 7″ with UK solo artist Ed Tullett

On July 17th, Equal Vision Records/Rory Records’ indie outfit Tallhart will release a very limited split 7″ with Brighton, UK-based solo artist Ed Tullett.

Side A features Tallhart’s haunting cover of Peter Gabriel’s “I Grieve”, and on Side B, a remastered version of Tullett’s “Eventual Body”. Filter Magazine is premiering both songs exclusively today on their website: FilterMagazine.com.

The vinyl pressing is limited to 500 on transparent red, with 300 available through Equal Vision Records’ Online Store (pre-orders now available) and 100 available through each band at shows. All vinyl includes a free download card.

Tullett, an 18-year old acoustic indie/folk artist, is fresh off the release of his first full-length album Never Joy, which was self-released and has received over 6000 album downloads on Bandcamp, earning him a featured spot on the site multiple times as a top performing artist. Tullett makes his US debut with the release of the split.

Tallhart has several local tour dates planned for the summer, as well as a short run with Dashboard Confessional and an east coast tour with Belle Histoire. The Tampa, FL-based band is currently touring in support of their new EP Bloodlines, which was released on April 10, 2012. Tallhart is the first band signed to Rory Records, an imprint of Equal Vision Records started by Say Anything frontman, Max Bemis. All upcoming Tallhart tour dates can be seen below.
