Texas In July release “Bed of Nails” music video

Today Ephrata, PA, metal quintet Texas In July is premiering their new music video for “Bed of Nails” – off of their recently released self-titled album. The video can be viewed on Youtube and on The music video was co-directed by Kevin Cross and Brad Golowin of Thunder Down Country (Miss May I, Memphis May Fire, Asking Alexandria) and filmed in Ohio.

“There is a very distinct guitar part in this song, triggered by the infamous whammy pedal,” lyricist/bassist Ben Witkowski of “Bed of Nails” – a clear stand-out track on the album – and one of the band’s most impressive songs to date. “I remember when Christian [Royer] wrote this part in studio and it’s like our world as a band spun around. One different thing after another on this record, and this song was the icing on the cake.” He continues, “We’re very excited for “Bed of Nails” to be our first music video off of the self-titled record. We had a ton of fun creating this song and watching it grow, can’t wait for everyone to see this!”

The band is currently on a massive North American tour with Of Mice & Men, which wraps up tomorrow night in Chicago, IL. The band will venture out on a Canadian tour with Structures’ this Spring, with additional support from Northlane and Intervals. All upcoming tour dates can be seen below.
