WATERPARKS PREMIERES ‘CLUSTER’ EP
Houston, TX’s Waterparks is now premiering their new EP – Cluster – at Youtube.com/equalvision. Cluster was recorded with producers Benji Madden (Good Charlotte, 5 Seconds of Summer) and Courtney Ballard (5 Seconds of Summer, All Time Low).
The EP will officially be released tomorrow, January 15, via Equal Vision Records. Physical copies are available through the band on tour and online at waterparks.merchnow.com, and the album is available for pre-order digitally through iTunes.
“It’s AWESOME that people are about to hear Cluster, we’ve been sitting on these completed songs for a few months now and the anticipation for us has been insane,” shares vocalist/guitarist Awsten Knight. “It’s a mix between ‘Oh my God, I really hope people like this. I just wanna know already ahhhh’ and ‘PEOPLE NEED TO HEAR THIS. CLUSTER IS THE BEST THING WE HAVE EVER MADE. IT NEEDS TO BE OUT. NOW.’ Please pick up a copy so we can afford to buy walkie talkies, those are our main goal right now.”
Yesterday, Waterparks kicked off their first full US tour, as the opener on Never Shout Never’s headline tour with additional support from Metro Station. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.
“The first day of tour was better than we could’ve asked for! It didn’t really hit us until we were sound checking yesterday and we were like “DUDE HOUSE OF BLUES. THIS STAGE IS HUGE. OUR SONGS SOUND SO BIG RIGHT NOW. I’m glad it’s starting in Texas because I wanted to hit our hometown and surrounding cities first. Everyone here is super cool to us all the time, so it’s perfect to have that energy right away before we leave for unfamiliar territory. We’re looking forward to playing EVERY DAY. In the past, we’ve only done one to two shows a month and that’s not nearly enough for any of us.”
