WIND IN SAILS PREMIERES “PUSH AND SHOVE” MUSIC VIDEO VIA ROCK SOUND

Wind In Sails, the solo project of Evan Pharmakis, is now premiering a new music video for “Push and Shove” via Rock Sound Magazine.

“I wrote this song for my fiancée, as a sort of cheer up song, so it was really neat to do this video with us as the only two characters in the story,” reveals Pharmakis. “It’s a bit cheesy, but we had fun and it’s a short and sweet video!”

“Push and Shove” comes from the Newport, RI-based artist’s sophomore full-length Morning Light, which is out now via Headphone Music (an imprint of Equal Vision Records). Morning Light is available for purchase from windinsails.merchnow.com and via digital retetailers such as iTunes and AmazonMP3.

Wind In Sails is currently on tour in the UK/Europe supporting A Loss For Words. Pharmakis is also set to perform at Slam Dunk Festival in the UK this weekend. All upcoming tour dates can be found below.

Wind In Sails has previously toured and shared stages with the likes of PVRIS, A Loss For Words, A Rocket to the Moon, mewithoutYou, Our Last Night, the Vans Warped Tour and more.

Morning Light was recorded at Apparition Sound Studios in Thompson, CT with producer Chris Curran. The 11-track album will serve as a follow-up to Brighter Days, an eight-song album released in October 2012 and the more recent Darker Nights EP (October 2013) – a raw, stripped down release touching on the loss of loved ones and betrayal of friendship, while still holding an underlying message of optimism. He elaborates, “No matter how horrible things can get, with a positive mentality there’s nothing we can’t push through. Things will always get better with time to heal.”

“The new album is a perfect balance between stripped down, intimate songs, and more deeply produced, full-bodied tracks,” reveals Pharmakis. “Morning Light represents both the beginning of a new day, and the first step on the road ahead for Wind In Sails.”
