YouInSeries disbands (2003 – 2008)

We’re saddened to bring you the news that YouInSeries from Las Vegas have officially disbanded. Vocalist Kyle Lobeck from the band released an official statement via MySpace last night.

Originally forming under the name Brown Eyed Deception back in 2003, the the group worked hard to spread their music around the western states, eventually landing a demo in the hands of one of Equal Vision’s A&R reps. They were signed shortly after and changed their name to YouInSeries.

YouInSeries recorded their debut album, Outside We Are Fine with acclaimed producer Brian McTernan in his Baltimore studios, and the album saw a release in May of 2006. To support Outside We Are Fine, YouInSeries toured with labelmates Circa Survive, along with The Receiving Ends of Sirens, and more over the following months, but the group to a halt when original members Logan Lanning and Cheyne Smith left to pursue other opportunities.

The band then regrouped with drummer Daniel Conway and former Versus The Mirror guitarist Kevin Ryan, and filled an opening spot on Fear Before The March of Flames headlining tour in the spring of 2007.
